Foreign Aisle ("we", "our", "the app") is a community-sourced app for finding foreign, imported, and specialty grocery products at local stores. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
You can browse, search, and view products, locations, and comments without creating an account. An account is only required to contribute content — adding a product or location, voting, commenting, liking, bookmarking, or reporting.

We do not collect health, financial, or contact-list data, and we do not track your browsing or search history.
We use the information above for app functionality only: authenticating you, enabling core features, attributing content, preventing fraud/abuse, and providing customer support. Your location is additionally used to personalize what you see — for example, showing a feed of nearby products and sorting search results by distance.
We do not use your information for third-party advertising, our own advertising or marketing, or analytics. We do not run any advertising or analytics SDKs in the app, and we do not sell or share your information with data brokers.
We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not share your data with third parties for their own advertising purposes.
Foreign Aisle is built on Supabase, which hosts our database, authentication, and file storage. Supabase processes your data on our behalf to run the app and does not use it for its own purposes.
Content you post publicly — comments, product listings, store locations, your username and avatar — is visible to other users of the app, since that's the shared, community-sourced nature of Foreign Aisle. Votes, bookmarks, and reports are private and visible only to you.
You can delete your account at any time from the app's account settings. When you do, you choose independently whether to keep or delete your products, locations, comments, and votes/likes — bookmarks and reports are always removed.
This is a hard delete — Foreign Aisle does not retain deleted data.
Foreign Aisle is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
The app icon incorporates graphics by Icons8.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
